CSS Mastery iPod Giveaway

Dear Santa,

While I know I’ve not been good and rarely nice, all I ask for Christmas this year is something that is sure to entice. Check your list and check it twice – it’s probably ordered and semantically nice. You know I love break tags and tables too; my understanding of CSS is limited, that is nothing new. A book this is year is all I ask, anything to help my table-based task.

On Christmas day, CSS Mastery is all I can say – it is my one request this year, on my desk it will be near. My tags might not be closed and my site might not validate, but that all may change as this book is top rate! As you soar through the sky, floating left and floating right; clear your way through and like Amazon deliver over-night.

With Andy Budd’s new book my site can be clean with a fresh new look. You’re a jolly man full of padding and joy – I ask not for a puppy or even a toy. Please Santa, all I ask for Christmas this year is a copy of CSS Mastery.

This letter to Santa is in response to Andy Budd’s “Win an iPod Nano with CSS Mastery this Christmas

  1. Hahaha! Nice stuff. I don’t know if I’ll enter after this entry! I’ve got no chance after this rhyming wizardry!

  2. Only bad thing about this blog is I can rarely tell when it is a compliment or thick sarcasm.

Regardless, I’ll say thanks for the comment and suggest you enter anyway — it has been fun reading what other people have been sending in as their letters.

  3. Wonderful rhyme Martin. I can vouch for CSS Mastery. It is a great tutorial and reference. The case studies by Cameron Moll and Simon Collison are fantastic.

  4. Thanks … lets see if the rhyme is good enough to win me a copy of the book, or even an iPod!

  5. hehehehe … this is really amazing….. i am not goin to try this …. really hopin u win it …. also clicked on the “Transcending CSS” link ….. really enjoyed readin this page … now off to see the other people vying for this great book

  6. Thanks Leroy! I don’t usually do “avertorial” type stuff — but both of these were really fun (creatively); that is how I justified it to myself.
